Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Senior Analyst

About the role:

The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Analyst will establish and maintain excellence within the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) for an assigned Therapeutic Area/Business Unit. You will support the day-to-day CRM operational processes ensuring quality CRM data and CRM functionality for assigned Business Unit(s), identify stakeholders, risks, opportunities (e.g., performance improvements), and make recommendations as needed.

Product launch experience in the Life Sciences industry is particularly valuable, as well as the ability to act as a liaison, and effectively partner with key business stakeholders, IT implementation team, and other integrated stakeholder groups (Field Sales Reporting, MDM, Data Management, Marketing, Compliance, and Home Office Reporting).

This position is primarily a business-facing (and user-facing) role requiring the ability to build strong relationships and speak "business" and "technology" to the appropriate audiences. The ideal candidate will need the ability to identify gaps, know when to leverage technical expertise for execution, and focus on achieving functional goals. You will be reporting directly to the Associate Director, CRM Business Solutions

How you will contribute:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point and subject matter expert for issues and questions relating to CRM

  • Develop accurate, complete requirements, and transform these potentially complex business "asks" into value- add business (system and process) solutions/capabilities

  • Develop business unit specific plans/roadmaps, utilize inputs from various sources (vendor metrics/KPIs, Field Surveys, and business unit contacts), and the measurement (KPIs) for these plans

  • Develop, launch, and continued improvement of the CRM Platform for respective business unit(s)

  • Develop accurate, complete requirements, and transform these potentially complex business "asks" into value- add business (system and process) solutions/capabilities

  • Develop business unit specific plans/roadmaps, utilize inputs from various sources (vendor metrics/KPIs, Field Surveys, and business unit contacts), and the measurement (KPIs) for these plans

  • Use knowledge of the respective systems to answer questions, provide support, and ensure quality and adoption

  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring that timelines and data quality are maintained

  • Execute user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts for both the CRM platform, and overall Data Validation for CRM

  • Create documentation and training materials, and will conduct training for new hires, launches, and releases

  • Must be self-motivated, a team player, , possess the ability to manage simultaneous projects, and prioritizing based on business criticality/needs

  • Ability to influence without formal authority, work with senior leadership, have a strong sense of urgency, and analytical skills

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

  • 0-5 years of experience with CRM (Veeva/Salesforce), Field Sales Reporting, Master Data Management, or another Commercial Pharmaceutical/Biotech discipline

  • Experience in a customer facing/highly collaborative business environment

  • Experience writing detailed our requirements and refining technical requirements

  • Experience in software project management (SDLC) (demand management to delivery to support)

Preferred:

  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech Industry

  • Veeva CRM system (certification) or Salesforce.com (SFDC certification)
