Note – The position is part-time, at approximately 20 hours per week. Presence on-site in Lexington, Ma is preferred for project start-up with hybrid model potentially possible after the initial period.

Seeking a skilled and experienced Budget Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing budget organization across multiple cost centers, creating finance dashboards, and articulating potential overspending or underspending each period. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of SAP ECC and S4HANA and will play a key role in driving the upcoming budget process for 2025, gathering input from various stakeholders to align and set the budget for the upcoming year.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage budgets across multiple cost centers to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

• Analyze financial data to track and identify potential overspend or underspend, providing actionable insights to drive financial decisions.

• Drive the upcoming preliminary budget process for 2025, gathering input from multiple stakeholders to set the annual budget.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and consolidate input, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of budgetary information.

• Reconcile transactional accounting data export with spend.

• Work with colleagues to perform appropriate departmental cross-charges.

• Provide data to support the development of a finance dashboard to monitor spending and identify and explain monthly variances.

• Perform other tasks & duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in finance and budget management.

• Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC and S4HANA.

• Experience working with various reporting platforms.

• Ability to interpret and present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• High degree of adaptability, with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.

Education/Degree:

A Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years or Master’s degree with 1+ years relevant experience.

Must Have Questions:

• Experience With SAP ERP or SAP ECC

• Experience With S4HANA.
