QA Documentation and LMS Specialist

job summary:

The QA Documentation and Learning Specialist, a member of the Process Excellence & Learning organization, will be responsible for administering the Quality Management System (QMS) process related to documentation, training, and compliance activities across the R&D Quality, R&D functions, and Global Quality (as applicable) functions.

Under the direction of the Process Excellence & Learning Lead, the person assuming this role will be expected to work with cross functional teams of Process Owners, Content Experts and functional area Subject Matter Experts, that is critical to our meeting regulatory requirements and compliance commitments.

The QA Documentation and Learning Specialist will be an expert administrative user for our DMS and LMS systems, troubleshooting potential issues, assisting business partners in utilizing the systems appropriately, and running reports and metrics to determine QMS compliance. The QA Documentation and Learning Specialist should have at least 5 years' experience as a DMS and/or LMS administrator, exceptional interpersonal skills, and highly organized and detailed to ensure all steps are completed in a timely (and compliant) manner. They must be able to manage the development of multiple workflows simultaneously and should have strong computer and technical skills.

Must Haves:

  • Administrative / Coordinator Experience with either SABA or myQUMAS (or similar LMS platform)

  • strong technical and computer skills

  • Organized, detail-orienteted, and a self-starter

  • Fully remote is acceptable, but must be flexible to support infrequent off-hour support for a global audience


  • Experience performing administrative functions in a validated Document Management System (DMS) and/or Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Attention to detail in performing data management tasks.

  • Experience in using Microsoft Offices products including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and projects.
