Kforce's client, a $50M division of a $1B global company (Environmental Consulting) located in Lexington, MA is seeking a Senior Accountant, Project Accounting. The Senior Accountant will support the month end close process, project-based accounting, tracking project costs and spending, and preparation of financial statements.Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Involved with GL entries, reconciliations, and supporting month end close

• Analysis of expenses, costs reports, contracts, and budget variances

• Assist with job cost accounting

• Communicate with external auditors

• Involved with budgeting and financial planning

• BS degree Accounting/Finance

• 4-8 years of GL Accounting experience

• Exposure to project accounting, cost accounting, or DOD Accounting methods is preferred

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with Management

• Deltek/Costpoint ERP, a plus
