Job Description
MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Finance Transformation Lead to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will drive business transformation, financial systems implementation, and organizational effectiveness, leading large-scale financial modernization initiatives across the organization. This role requires a proven track record in overseeing organization-wide financial improvements and optimizing business operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to build coalitions across a variety of stakeholders to drive meaningful and lasting transformation.

Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of finance transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Oversee the implementation of financial technology solutions, including ERP systems, automation, and data analytics tools.
Develop and manage change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new financial processes and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Contracting Departments to drive seamless integration of transformation projects.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial transformation efforts while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on process improvements and cost optimization opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate the success of transformation initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications - Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
10+ years of experience in finance transformation, business process improvement, or financial systems implementation.
Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
Expertise in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday, as well as experience with automation and AI-driven financial tools.
Proven track record of leading large-scale financial transformation projects in complex organizations.
Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
Ability to develop and execute strategic roadmaps that drive efficiency and enhance financial performance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Qualifications - Preferred
Experience working in federal or highly regulated industries.
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications.
Experience in a DoD research, acquisition, and contracting environment.
Advanced degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
Familiarity with organizational and cultural change management best practices and methodologies.
Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, JIRA.
