Job Information Systems Engineer SME in Lexington, Massachusetts

Overview is seeking a Systems Engineer SME, providing system engineering support to the Airborne Warning and Controls Systems (AWACS) program office, which is within the Digital Directorate (formerly known as the Battle Management Directorate) (AFLCMC/HB) at Hanscom AFB, MA. What you will do System engineering that includes advice and recommendations regarding requirements, interpretations, alternative courses of action, requirements impacts on program schedule and budget; and review, evaluate, and comment on Request for Proposals (RFPs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Fast Track Change Notices, support Program Management Requests (PMRs), Technical Interchange Meetings, Test Meetings, etc. Perform drawing reviews that ensure the incorporation of complete, current, and accurate Government drafting specifications and regulations in contractor drawings and conformance to requirements, specifications, regulations and quality control. Provide system engineering solutions that are based on systems analyses, advanced technology processing techniques, engineering research and evaluation of all aspects system engineering, including critical software/hardware interfaces issues, reliability and availability of systems, systems engineering methodologies, performance evaluation and optimization of design criteria requirements, and test requirements identification. Support technical teams in solving a variety of client problems related to systems engineering and program management for a specific AWACS Project/Program Systems. Develop technical reports, make recommendations to Project/Program leadership and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solution What you need to have Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret clearance BA/BS degree with 8+ years of experience, or; Advanced Degree (MA/MS) with 6+ years of experience, or; PhD with 3+ years of experience Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an IPT environment Ability to interface with internal and external clients Possession of excellent interpersonal skills Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills What we'd like you to have Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desirable About A leader in decision dominance for more than 20 years, operationalizes artificial intelligence and machine learning at scale through its end-to-end data analytics platform.
