Sodexo Food Operations Manager 1 in LOWELL, Massachusetts

Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Operations Manager 1 for Lowell General Hospital located in Lowell, MA . In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager 2, and be part of the leadership team overseeing a team of approximately 8 hospital employees. The schedule for this role will be 12:00pm - 8:30pm, including rotational weekend coverage every other weekend.

Lowell General Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital serving the Greater Lowell area and surrounding communities. With two primary campuses located in Lowell, Massachusetts, Lowell General Hospital offers the latest state-of-the-art technology and a full range of medical and surgical services for patients, from newborns to seniors.

The successful candidate will:

  • coordinate all required tasks, and managing scheduling through frontline staff

  • deliver high quality food services including retail, patient meal management, and catering

  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals

  • ensure compliance with HACCP, regulatory and Sodexo standards

  • have daily interaction with fellow managers and clinical team to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
