Description

We are searching for a Lead Product Manager to take responsibility for developing and implementing software solutions that leverage standard customer experience product functions as well as AI capabilities to enhance services and implementation processes. In this role, you will drive the strategy and roadmap for technology platforms that power AI-driven analytics, metric calculations, and data science models within our SaaS product suite.

You will have a strong technical background and are comfortable discussing the pros and cons of modern parallel processing platforms such as Apache Spark, and Google Dataflow. You understand the importance of data and are well-versed in databases, both relational and big data structures, as well as the entire data lifecycle from modeling to transformations to representation. You can articulate a compelling long-term vision and sell the big picture while staying pragmatic and realistic about how to achieve it. You are equally comfortable engaging with multiple diverse product teams who are your internal customers and with technical experts responsible for the environments in which your products operate.

This employee will be expected to work 3 days/week onsite at a US Based UKG Office

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Understand product needs, opportunities, and market trends for embedding AI and near real-time processing in commercial SaaS business applications.

• Articulate a long-term vision for frameworks supporting complex KPIs, metric calculations, and AI-driven data science models.

• Define product strategy, develop annual plans, and maintain feature roadmaps.

• Ensure roadmap alignment between AI-driven data processing frameworks, applications that leverage them, company strategy, and support and Implementation portfolio initiatives.

• Maintain strong collaboration with Product and Engineering teams responsible for delivering offerings. Provide them direction, guidance, and assistance in leveraging embedded technology, including AI, to realize the analytics enablement of our product portfolio ‘and improve our serviceability and supportability of our products.

• Partner with the AI product team to understand their needs and drive platform evolution to make embedded AI models easier to build and deploy.

• Establish close collaboration with the Engineering teams responsible for the development and support of the assigned processing platforms focused on serviceability and supportability of our products.

• Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with other members of the Platforms, Implementation & post live customer experience teams, and business domain product leaders across the portfolio.

• Work independently and make informed, consequential decisions without management supervision.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience in Product Management, with at least 3 years of experience involving direct responsibility for complex technical platforms, exhibiting full ownership of the product lifecycle from idea to support cases.

• Strong understanding of modern real-time messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka, Spark, and Beam.

• Familiarity with cloud-based NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and BigQuery.

• Working knowledge of analytics ecosystems on leading public cloud platforms such as GCP (preferred), AWS, Azure.

• Experience in the Agile SDLC.

• Proven ability to partner effectively across functions in complex organizations and the ability to gain a shared vision on product decisions and priority trade-offs.

• Strong presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience with AI, Vertex 1.5, and Google AI Agents, Proficient in building and deploying generative AI experiences using Google’s Vertex AI Agent Builder, which combines no-code tools and open-source frameworks like LangChain and Google Search123.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Product Management experience in a commercial enterprise SaaS environment.

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.

• Prior experience as an architect, software developer, or technical lead.

• Understanding of AI concepts and principles.
