Rapid Micro Biosystems Program Manager, Inventory Control in Lowell, Massachusetts
This high-energy position is responsible for all production warehouse inventory accuracy, cycle counting, material issues to manufacturing floor, job maintenance, shipping and receiving activities in support of domestic and international requirements including timely and accurate transactions. Managing, organizing all storage locations including global 3PL sites for inventory accuracy. Supporting a FIFO inventory model including global 3PL partner providers. Pro-actively manage expiration date notifications on pharmaceutical consumables and chemicals in consumable and medical device manufacturing facility.
Implement and Manage cycle count program to include root cause analysis and KPI reporting. Support all internal receiving and shipping requirements. Knowledge of UPS, FedEx and 3PL Carrier systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Implement and maintain Cycle Count program with weekly reporting and reconciliation with global 3PL warehouse to maintain 99%+ accuracy on inventory levels.
Identify opportunities for inventory accuracy improvements, ERP systems efficiencies and day to day functional process improvements.
Coordinate 3PL shipments with freight carriers with closed loop confirmation of delivery and real time reconciliation of 3PL global inventory reporting.
Ensure 100% regulatory compliance as it pertains to receipts, shipment, packaging and storage of materials.
Ensure cold chain storage inventory accuracy. Including in transit and external processing for sterilization.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Execute activities in support of shipping and receiving while ensuring part count accuracy and on time delivery.
Experience to drive and maintain 5S organization skills.
Adherence to all applicable documentation and processes.
Experience with writing SOP’s, WI in support of inventory control and logistics function.
Hands on, inventory management skills in support of ISO requirements.
Highly proficient with the necessary paperwork to support DOT, IATA and international shipments
Manage cycle count activities and drive root cause analysis.
Support stockroom kit pulling, scheduling and manufacturing floor support as needed.
Must be able to lift 45lbs and load/unload trucks using pallet jack.
Possess a positive and professional manner with solid work ethics.
Prepare export compliance paperwork for all US and International shipments including raw material sterilization runs.
Previous experience in an ISO or FDA regulated facility.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and general MRP systems
Able to travel internationally as required (less than 10%)
Strong communication, problem solving abilities.
Support all kitting of manufacturing orders and transaction requirements as applicable
Support floor stock and MRO replenishment programs.
Support inventory accuracy and Physical Inventory process.
Weekly management reporting of cycle count program.
