Wellforce Sleep Technologist in Lowell, Massachusetts
The Sleep Technologist performs services in a designated area according to the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the department and hospital. Works cooperatively within department and other services to create a system of quality health care .
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform, evaluate and score overnight polysomnograms within the American Academy of Sleep Medicine guidelines • Perform EEG testing within the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society guidelines as indicated by department needs. • Perform as a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner within the American Academy of Respiratory Care guidelines. • Assist with monitoring patient care delivery, act as a resource and provide direction to the staff. • Assist with the Sleep Home Care Program. • Collect and report monthly data in support of quality indicators and patient care. • Maintain and manage accurate inventory within established budget. • Maintain professional responsibilities and interactions.
