We are seeking an experienced Sr. Database Administrator/Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge SaaS technologies and impactful projects that are used by enterprises and users worldwide. You will drive technical strategy, lead large-scale projects, and mentor engineers across the organization.

About The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of the database systems

  • Analyze solutions and implement best practices for relational and NoSQL database clusters

  • Design, build, and maintain core database infrastructure to support scalability

  • Plan and manage database infrastructure capacity

  • Develop tools and automation for efficient database operations and deployments

  • Collaborate with SREs and engineering teams on production changes and incident mitigation

  • Provide database expertise to engineering teams for designing, releasing, and troubleshooting production systems

  • Lead database-related projects, ensuring their timely delivery

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Participate in the on-call rotations and provide critical support for production systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a SQL Server DBA or in a similar role, along with a Microsoft SQL Server certification

  • Skills with scripting and automation using Python, Go, PowerShell, Google Cloud Scripting and Infrastructure Code (IaC)

  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions

  • Database Security & Backup: Practical experience in planning and implementing database security measures, including internal and external MS SQL security best practices, along with proven ability to design and implement effective backup and recovery policies

  • Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Go, and Google Cloud Scripting, coupled with a solid understanding of server hardware, operating systems, and infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts

  • Experience working within hosting or SaaS environments, with familiarity working with various database technologies (including SQL, NoSQL, and SaaS instances) and building telemetry/observability implementations

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, coupled with

The pay range for this position is $99,800 to $143,450, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
