Corporate Tax Preparer - Public Job Type - Temporary Pay Rate - \$47.50 - \$55.00 / Hourly Description A client in the greater Springfield, MA area is looking for experienced Tax Manager that specializes in corporate tax returns. The client is a mid-size accounting firm that is currently growing their team. Clients range from small business (\$5M in revenue or less and businesses with \$5-\$10M in revenue. The Tax Manager will be responsible for reviewing tax returns prepared by staff and communicating with clients. Previous experience in public accounting. Experience with Thomson Reuter suite of QuickBooks is a plus. Requirements Must hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field Proven experience in corporate tax preparation in a public setting Knowledge of annual income tax provision Experience working with Ultra Tax software Familiarity with QuickBooks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
