Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician and play a vital role in ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures. Responsibilities include reviewing production line parameters, testing samples for physical and chemical properties, maintaining the quality retain program, and organizing laboratory cleanliness. You'll also handle documentation, shipping samples for external testing, and maintaining instrument calibration. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a dynamic environment, apply now! The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Review production line parameters and performance to ensure compliance with Company Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Guidelines, and Facility Procedures

  • Conduct testing on samples, including raw materials and finished products, to assess physical and chemical properties and verify adherence to Quality Specifications

  • Facilitate the generation and shipping of samples for external analytical testing as necessary

  • Maintain the Quality Retain Program to preserve samples for future reference and analysis

  • Uphold laboratory cleanliness and organization to ensure a conducive work environment and accurate testing conditions

  • Document testing procedures, product holds, internal investigations, and root cause analyses in accordance with established protocols

  • Manage the procurement of lab supplies to support ongoing testing and operational needs

  • Oversee the Instrument Calibration Program to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory equipment

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required, with a preference for additional education or certifications in Quality Assurance

  • Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in hands-on quality systems and checks, showcasing a strong understanding of quality control procedures

  • Exceptional ability to interpret and follow detailed instructions, coupled with outstanding mathematics and problem-solving skills to address complex issues efficiently

  • Flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd shifts, demonstrating adaptability to meet varying operational demands

  • Proficient in lifting a minimum of 50lbs, adept at using hands and arms together to maneuver various items safely and effectively

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, complemented by advanced computer proficiency in programs such as Word and Excel

  • Capable of climbing stairs/ladders and standing for prolonged periods, ensuring physical readiness for the demands of the role

  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment, displaying resilience and readiness to operate in dynamic settings

  • Commitment to safety protocols and guidelines, with a meticulous approach to adhering to strict safety standards

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check, demonstrating integrity and reliability

  • Highly detail-oriented, with a keen eye for precision and accuracy in all tasks and processes
