GE Aerospace Lead Customer Order & Fulfillment Specialist in Lynn, Massachusetts

Job Description Summary

Customer Order & Fulfillment leader responsible for serving our CT7/T700 Commercial & International Military aftermarket customers, with a focus on Boeing Distribution accounts. As the customer facing focal, this leader is tasked with forecasting, order management, customer satisfaction and business development. A strong understanding of Supply Chain management and business acumen are desired to achieve desired outcomes. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate customer order management – generate proposals, process order intake, input into internal systems. Connect to customer portals and systems. May support forecasting, billing and collection activities.

  • Integrate with Supply Chain fulfillment leaders to clearly communicate customer requirements and gather input to report material commitments to the customer.

  • Uses a Lean mindset to identify waste and improve current processes. Problem solver mentality with a drive to create a solution.

  • Ability to identify as well as manage business opportunities and risks on a regular basis.

  • Increasing delivery performance for our customer.

  • Key contact for customer inquiries and satisfaction customer complaint (issue) resolution process.

  • Exercises judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Preferred to have experience in Material Management/Supply Chain

  • This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

  • Energetic, customer focused, thought leader with experience building customer relationships

  • Ability to support domestic and international travel

  • Awareness of basic technical aspects of jet propulsion
