Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leads core financial processes for the Lynn Plant Services, including monthly close, forecasting, planning, reporting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A). Lynn Plant Services maintains & operates the GE Aerospace campus & buildings in Lynn, MA, USA.

  • Support financial planning & analysis (FP&A) processes for the GE Aerospace Combustors and Structures Part Family, consisting of 5 global manufacturing sites.

  • Lead projects to improve plant finance processes, including using automation to improve the efficiency of the Combustors and Structures Part Family finance.

  • Support standardization of finance processes across shops, implementation of standard work on reporting / close activity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • At least 5 years' experience in finance, supply chain, plant operations or a related field

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Established project management skills.

  • Detailed financial planning, reporting, and variance analysis experience.

  • Ability to balance recurring and ad-hoc requests.

  • Prior experience working at a manufacturing site or in a centralized cost role.

  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Proficient in Alteryx.
