General Electric T901 Repair Engineering Program Leader in Lynn, Massachusetts

Job Description Summary

The T901 Repair Engineering Program Leader position involves ownership and development of the T901 Repair Engineering effort with the US Government customer. In addition, this person is serves as the repair engineering focal for the T901 program, working with T901 supportability and maintainability focals.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of T901 Repair Engineering Instructions (REI) ensuring compliance with GE repair engineering best practices

  • Support development of T901 maintenance manuals, special repair procedures, repair technology and other key supportability program deliverables

  • Collaborate with T901 customer to ensure that new T901 REI are integrated with the existing customer infrastructure for repairs

  • Work with supportability cost manager to understand budget and timeline for repair engineering key deliverables; support cost/schedule/budget reviews

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a design engineering leadership role

  • US Government or customer product sustainability experience

Characteristics:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations outside of engineering

  • Experience in the development of repair engineering documents and instructions for GE aviation and other GE products

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects and deliver high quality results on-time and on-budget

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Travel may be required to on-site engine repair facilities
