The Scheduler accurately schedules appointments for exams, testing and procedures by incoming calls, external faxed orders, outreach calls, google sheets, or work queues system wide, according to department policies and procedures. Adheres to all scheduling changes and updates to scheduling modules for all modalities. Monitor all scheduled appointments for accuracy. Obtains all necessary documentation to perform exams, requisitions, written orders, and referrals. Identifies the unique needs and implements appropriate interventions for the age-specific and department scheduling categories. Works to ensure a high level of customer service to all patients, clinics, physicians, and co-workers. Communicates any unusual scheduling situations or problems to the Manager, Ancillary Scheduling.

QUALIFICATIONS:

● High School Diploma

● 1+ years knowledge of multiple Epic department scheduling workflows

● 1+ years scheduling experience in a High Volume Call Center

● Experienced in interpreting test results

● 1+years knowledge of creating orders and attaching diagnoses

● Knowledge of EPIC Radiant

● Understanding of Referral Authorizations, Requisitions and Orders

● Customer Service experience and excellent customer service skills are critical.

● Qualified candidates must have strong medical scheduling experience for multiple ancillary departments
