Actalent Construction Superintendent in Malden, Massachusetts

Job Title: SuperintendentJob Description

Key Responsibilities: • Supervise the total construction effort to meet project goals • Manage an orderly and safe construction site • Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with design intent • Communicate with clients, architects, building inspectors, and others • Coordinate and supervise means and methods of construction • Plan, arrange and coordinate subcontractor schedule and activities • Prepare daily job reports documenting construction site activity • Participate in weekly project meetings • Ensure compliance with all safety program requirements

Hard Skills

  • Construction supervisory experience of architectural, structural, and/or MEP systems

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Technical knowledge of construction assemblies

Soft Skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Organized with strong time management skills

  • Team player

  • Ability to communicate with team members and management

  • Written and oral communication in a professional and competent manner

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Malden, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

Mostly on site, some work from home possible, rarely in office
