Eliot Community Human Services Inc Relief Teacher in Malden, Massachusetts
Relief Teacher, Early Intervention (Part-time, flexible) Responsibilities: Participate in and/or prepare and implement the educational curriculum and other activities of the classroom Provide developmentally appropriate levels of supervision, care, and nurturing to children in and outside of the classroom Maximize positive interactions with each child both in and outside of the classroom Maintain a clean, orderly, and developmentally appropriate environment in the classroom Use supplies and materials of the program in a responsible and cost-effective manner Maintain a professional relationship with children, parents, other family members, and other staff of the program Assist in the preparation, serving, and clean-up process for snacks served at the Center Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and experience working with infants and toddlers. Associates Degree in Child Development or completion of college credits in the category of Child Growth and Development can substitute for experience. Compensation: \$20.00/hr. (6% additional pay increase for bilingual experience) Hours: 12 per week/flexible Qualifications Education Preferred Associates or better in Other.
