Speech and Language Pathologist, Fee For Service (FFS) Eliot is seeking a Master\'s level Fee For Service Speech Pathologist (Bilingual Prefered) interested in making a difference for children and families. to work in our Early Intervention Program. Familiarity with total communication, feeding assessment, early childhood development and children with special needs preferred. Eliot?s Early Intervention Programs provide home & community based services for children from birth to three years of age, who may have, or are at risk of having, a delay in development. A multidisciplinary team of specialists assess the child?s needs & work with the family to maximize skill acquisition, facilitating optimal growth in the areas of cognitive, language, motor, & social development. The hands-on, family-focused approach to services strives to increase parents? understanding of their child?s strengths & needs, & supports parents in learning how to foster their child?s growth & development. Responsibilities: Identifies, screens, and evaluates performance of children in the areas of interpersonal communication, speech production, receptive and expressive language, cognitive bases of language acquisition and augmentative communication modes. Plans and implements remediation programs for children with communication disorders. Provides transdisciplinary services to families and children enrolled in the Early Intervention Program. Develops and ensures follow up to treatment goals in the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) in the home. Plans are developed in accordance with the requirements of the funding source, sound clinical practice, and in collaboration with the family. Utilizes a team approach to treatment planning and service delivery with other staff members, family members, physicians, and agencies. Provides assessment/reports, IFSP?s, progress notes, and insurance verification reports within established timelines. Provides in-service training to other team members within areas of expertise. Schedule: Varied Qualifications Skills Preferred Computer Software Skills-Some Knowledge Experience with population- Intermediate Communication Skills- Advanced Clinical Skills- Advanced Administrative Tasks- Advanced Education Required MA or better in Speech Pathology. Experience Required Familiarity with total communication, feeding assessment, and treatment. Experience in infancy/early childhood preferred.
