Extrusion Operator

This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you will be hired directly with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire!

Pay: $21-25/hour, possibly higher based on experience. Paid weekly!

Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday OR Wednesday– Saturday

Shifts : 1st : 7 am-7 pm OR 2nd Shift : 7:00 pm-7:00 am

Type of role: Permanent/Direct Hire

What’s a typical day as Extrusion Operator? You’ll be:

• Working with the extrusion team to change raw materials into rolls of plastic that will be used to produce containers.

• Required to maintain complete and accurate records throughout your shift. This will include documenting batches, scanning, and making labels, recording measurements and stats.

• Watching the machines and performing quality checks to make sure everything is operating correctly.

• Working with your team to perform preventative maintenance on the machines.

• Driving a forklift to move raw materials and finished product throughout facility.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Are mechanically inclined, have a good number sense to measure and calculate, and can diagnose and fix problems.

• Have great attention to detail to spot manufacturing flaws and defects

• Have extrusion experience, injection molding experience, worked with plastic, rubber, or other extrusion.

• Can stand and walk throughout your shift and can lift/maneuver materials.

• Have High School Diploma/GED
