You will be a core member of Medtronics Operational Excellence team responsible for driving a multi-year roadmap across manufacturing facilities operating continuous business value.

A Day in the Life
As the Program Manager, Manufacturing Execution systems (MES) you will work closely with Divisional and Manufacturing Site leadership to drive the deployment of innovative manufacturing technologies to achieve operational excellence and transformation.
Drive deployment and adoption of MES solution, Critical Manufacturing, across multiple high-volume manufacturing facilities.
Ensure strong program management practices with an emphasis on conflict and change management.
Assist senior leaders and champions in selecting projects that align with business/functional goals and strategies.
Become skilled at leading and coaching digital transformations initiatives
Run large-scale improvement projects focused on improving manufacturing process and systems improvement
A change management mindset drives consensus among varied business practices towards Medtronics operation goal of driving industry-standard processes and systems.
Coach and mentor manufacturing Managers and Leaders to ensure their continued development in the adoption of new technologies
Develop an understanding of operational technologies that leverage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to improve the Overall Equipment Effectiveness scores on the manufacturing line.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
MBA, MS or other technical graduate degree preferred such as Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Previous experience in deploying Critical Manufacturing (MES solution) in a regulated environment will be highly desired.
Exposure to leveraging IoT cloud computing and analytical framework is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of business operations and/or plant manufacturing or engineering experience, which includes 3+ years of demonstrated process improvement program success.
Solid performance as a project manager.
Ability to support multiple projects and balance priorities.
Broad business knowledge and ability to link customer needs with business processes.
Strong coaching, facilitation and organizational skills.
Excellent oral/written communication and platform skills.
An understanding of and proficiency in Change Management.
PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Advanced skills in MS Office and statistical software packages (Minitab etc.).
Working Conditions: Travel typically 20-50%, but varies based on ongoing initiatives.
