To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Primary responsibilities are to:

  • Execute and monitor Preventative Maintenance (PM) program for production equipment, building, and grounds.

  • Troubleshoot skills in custom made equipment, malfunctions, operating difficulties and making necessary repairs or adjustments.

  • Maintain records in accordance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) ( Standard Operating Procedure) and Protocols.

  • Coordinate procurement of maintenance equipment, service repair parts, and supplies as required.

  • Manage vendors and contractors that perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Solicit professional services as required to maintain equipment.

  • Provide equipment repair/replacement recommendations to management.

  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by management.

  • Troubleshoots mechanical problems and performs root cause analysis in partnership with operations and engineers to solve problems and make improvements.

  • Maintaining and installing all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Attending daily meetings and scheduling training workshops were required.

  • Performs machine shop activities.

  • Operates mechanical tools and equipment such as: Milling machine, Lathe machine, surface grinder, drill press, required to fabricate or repair industrial parts and equipment.

  • Performing careful inventory and stock checks and placing orders for required material and equipment.

  • Controlling downtime by communicating with staff and implementing contingency measures.

  • Replace defective equipment parts then set specified clearances and adjust alignment of moving and stationary parts using hand and power tools.

  • Great mechanical and electrical aptitude.

  • Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting and repairs of automated equipment, PLC’s, HMI’s.

  • Critical and logical thinking ability.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to remain calm and act responsibly during emergencies.

  • Willingness to work overtime if necessary.

  • Consistently demonstrating prompt, regular, and reliable attendance.
