Job Description
Currently seeking a Shipping Supervisor for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Mansfield, MA.
Responsibilities of Shipping Supervisor:
-Track attendance and punctuality of employees in department
-Train and direct employees ensuring department runs smoothly and efficiently
-Assist employees with questions they may have
-Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues in orders
-Perform final order inspections verifying accuracy
-Monitor and report on TLX, WMS, Open Order Summary and PPS on the floor
-Assist in truck and carrier schedules
-Oversee shipment loading
-Manage shipping label database
-Pick/pack and consolidate orders
-Monitor inventory levels for shipping supplies ordering supplies as needed
-Assist with safety issues, fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures
-Other related tasks as assigned
Requirement of Shipping Supervisor:
-Some combination of education and experience in related field
-4 years experience in warehouse operations
-Previous supervisory experience
-Fork Truck Training Certificate
-Strong organizational skills
-Good computer skills
-Able to delegate and prioritize tasks
-Good problem solving skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Able to read and interpret work orders
Hours: 7:30am -4:00 pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $21.00-$24.00/hr
