We’re looking for a Contract Management Specialist (m/f/d) for our Cell Line Development business who will be responsible for drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, including term sheets, CDAs/NDAs, service and license contracts, and other agreements with strategic and key customers, as well as assisting on negotiating contract terms, developing commercial strategies and pricing models, and expanding further our contract management tools and databases. The successful applicant will use sound judgment to identify, evaluate and negotiate contract terms and conditions and other related requirements/risks.

What you’ll do

• Structure, draft and review strategic and transactional customer agreements, such as term sheets, CDAs/NDAs, service and license agreements, amendments and contract renewals, etc.

• Manage contract clause libraries and customer relationship and contract databases

• Work closely with our technical, sales and legal teams to continuously revise and update our contract templates

• Advise functional stakeholders and sales and business teams on agreement structures, risks, and revisions to terms and templates

• Manage contract reviews and solicit input from commercial, R&D, product development and product management teams, and various further stakeholders

• Ensure compliance to the contracts approval policy and lead process improvement efforts to support the achievement of business objectives

• Provide training, mentorship, and support on contract management to sales and business teams

  Who you are

• Master degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, engineering, economics or legal

• 3+ years background in contract drafting and management through legal training and/or commercial experience with contract drafting and legal work

• Experience with project management and external client engagement and communication

• Demonstrable organizational skills and experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in a fast-paced environment

• English language fluency, German language fluency is a plus

• Working experience in and knowledge of the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry

• Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite and CRM software, e. g. salesforce.com

• Innovative mindset – develop new concepts through interaction with our interdisciplinary teams

• Team spirit – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
