A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Controller in Marlborough, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:This client is a pre-IPO start-up company.; They have a great culture and environment and strong leadership and mentorship. • Manage the month-end close process

• Maintain reconciliation schedules

• Prepare budgets

• Prepare variance analyses

• Conduct audits

• Manage accounting operations

• Collect and report financial data

• Establish and monitor internal controls

• Establish policies, procedures, and systems

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree is a plus

• 10 years of accounting experience

• 7 years of CPA experience

• Experience with monthly reporting

• SEC reporting experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
