General Electric Field Marketing Leader, Radiology Contrast Media in Marlborough, Massachusetts

Role Summary:Responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategy and tactics for GE Healthcare Radiology Contrast Media products in the US and Canada. This is a downstream marketing role that includes activities such as market assessment and customer insight, segmentation and targeting, campaign development, multi-channel execution planning, campaign implementation and measurement, advocacy development, education & training programs and new product introductions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual field marketing plan for radiology contrast media portfolio

  • Work effectively with multiple cross-functional partners and stakeholders, gaining team buy-in to marketing programs and coordinating effective teamwork in execution of the plan.

  • Gather customer and market insights to drive market strategy.

  • Develop of disease and patient pathway understanding and frameworks to support strategy and execution

  • Analyze market research data to gain market insights for building market strategy and targeting

  • Develop marketing campaigns for advertising and promotion which include digital marketing.

  • Work with partners and across support functions to deliver compliant and effective marketing materials

  • Execute educational programs and customer events and leverage channels to support those programs

  • Measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns with defined KPIs

  • Build physician advocacy and KOL programs in partnership with professional societies

  • Work with training partners to ensure commercial teams are fully enabled and knowledgeable to deliver campaigns in the field

  • Manage marketing budget and marketing approval processes including tracking and on-time delivery of workflows

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering or Science or related field

  • Minimum 5 years experience in pharmaceutical or medical device marketing

  • Proficiency with creating marketing collateral and educational tools

  • Experience with the Advertising and Promotional approval process for marketing collateral and commercial facing pieces

Ability to work cross functionally and ability to influence

  • Marketing planning and project management skills

  • Analytical and ability to understand and model data

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills

  • Experience working with sales teams and supporting commercial teams with programs to drive awareness and sales

Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA or Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  • 7+ years experience in marketing or related field

  • Healthcare product/industry acumen, preferably in cardiology, diagnostic imaging and pharmaceutical imaging agents

  • Experience in interventional cardiology, interventional radiology or vascular surgery field

  • Experience developing/adapting and implementing marketing campaigns and programs across multiple customer targets

  • Multiple digital channel marketing experience

  • Able to learn quickly and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment
