The Hologic Finance Rotation Program (FRP) is a comprehensive two-year program that employs high-potential recent college undergraduates within the Global Finance organization at Hologic. This program was designed to develop a pipeline of future leaders for the Hologic Global Finance Organization through engaging rotational assignments, training, coaching, and professional development.

Upon completion of the program, our goal is that the individuals will leverage their unique talents and diverse FRP experiences as they continue on a long-term career journey within the Hologic Finance team.

The FRP Associates will gain invaluable experience during two, 12-month rotations within the global Finance organization.

Examples of potential rotations are as follows:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (Corporate or Divisional) – In this rotation, individuals will have the opportunity to build relationships and be a finance business partner providing cross-functional support; analyze monthly financial results and provide meaningful explanations on variances to forecast; gain strong understanding of P&L, products, business drivers, headcount and trends; present data and analysis to management to help drive informed business decisions; support the annual strategic plan and budget processes, along with regular forecast updates.

  • Corporate Treasury – In this rotation, individuals will play an important role in improving and maintaining the financial health and success of our business by developing a strong understanding of cash management, by analyzing and presenting our daily cash position and cash metrics and forecasting future cash flow needs. Associates will also support monthly close process, create quarterly board of directors meeting analyses and presentations, support the share repurchase program, and gain an increased knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX).

  • Accounting – In this rotation, individuals will have the opportunity to gain knowledge of the corporate accounting function; develop strong understanding of the month-end close responsibilities including preparing journal entries and completing reconciliations of general ledger accounts; collaborate with Finance business leaders to support month-end responsibilities; expand knowledge in the fixed assets. Additionally, individuals will partner with Shared Services, External Reporting and Commissions Analysis teams to assist in completing various deliverables and gain a broader understanding of the Finance organization.

  • Operations Finance - In this rotation, individuals will develop a strong understanding of the supply chain and operations accounting function by analyzing manufacturing variances, inventory balances, and costs for specific products and sites. Associates will also support the annual standard cost budget process, review manufacturing performance with operations leaders and site owners, and automate and implement new processes within the supply chain.

Potential Rotation Locations: Marlborough, Massachusetts or San Diego, California

Program Qualifications:

  • Must be an undergraduate student completing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field by May 2025

  • Minimum GPA of 3.2/4.0

  • Leadership demonstrated through extracurricular activities, employment and/or internship experiences

  • Prior internship/co-op experiences in the Finance/Accounting function considered a plus

Must have permanent work authorization in the U.S.
