We are in search of a Financial Analyst to join our team in the Manufacturing industry based in Marlborough, Massachusetts. You will play a critical role in understanding and interpreting financial information, including actuals, plans, forecasts, and capital analysis, among other responsibilities. This role is central to the financial planning and forecasting of our operations, and you will work closely with the executive team to maintain financial integrity and support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and analyze plant financial information, including daily, weekly, and monthly actuals, plans, forecasts, investment analysis.

• Lead the forecasting and planning process, working closely with the General Manager and Executive Team to quantify business issues and their impact on future results.

• Update and maintain forecast files regularly.

• Support management and external reporting processes by ensuring the integrity of financial reports and analysis.

• Assist in the coordination of financial support to the Executive team (Sales, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, etc.).

• Prepare and analyze standard financial reports, including Monthly and Quarterly Operating Packages, Daily/Weekly/Monthly P& L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.

• Evaluate capital expenditures and other investment decisions for Plant management.

• Provide decision support for special projects such as departmental subcontracting, reorganizations, customer contracts, etc.

• Collaborate closely with Plant management to identify key risks and alternatives.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, Crystal Reports, Data Mining Techniques, Accounting Functions, Accrual Accounting, Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, Forecasting, SEC Financial Reporting, etc.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of one year of experience in a financial analysis role within the aerospace industry.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with Crystal Reports is necessary.

• Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques is preferred.

• Understanding of Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting.

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures and principles.

• Experience in Budget Processes and Capital Management.

• Skills in Budgeting and Cost Accounting are essential.

• Ability to perform Financial Analysis and Forecasting.

• Knowledge of SEC Financial Reporting is required.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
