TJX Fixture Administration Manager in Marlborough, Massachusetts

The Fixture Administration Manager is responsible for the ongoing activities of the Fixture Administration Supervisors to ensure the fixture order fulfillment process for all existing, new, relocation, expansion, and remodeled T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, Homesense, and Combo stores. Personally responsible for the development of Fixture Administrators and supervises their activities to ensure that all the above is completed within established time frames.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Ensure that the fixture order fulfillment process is driven in line with Property Development/Corporate Objectives for all existing, new, relocation, expansion, and remodeled T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, Homesense and Combo stores. Responsibility to include scheduling and communication to the Fixture Administration team about on-going initiatives.
Work closely with Fixture Administration Supervisors, providing them with proper training and development which will enable them to efficiently implement required objectives while also maintaining a sense of team involvement and high morale.
Working with Property development associates to communicate issues pertinent to the successful completion of tasks. Provide Store Planning with feedback on issues concerning fixture plan revisions, provide construction with accurate fixture delivery information, timely feedback about other pertinent issues that may improve the overall fixture delivery and installation process.
Working with field organizations, maintain effective communication with Regional AVP of Operations to respond to their needs as communicated but remain firm about adherence to Property Development policies. Elevate issue to AVP as needed.
Work with Transportation to ensure that they receive current store project schedules and fixture delivery information. Conduct periodic meetings with Transportation associates to discuss outstanding issues and discuss better tracking tools/technology for fixture deliveries.
In absence of Manager of Fixture Administration, approves costly shipments to the stores and reviews reports to track fixture expenses for management review.
Special projects as assigned. Ensure integrity of Sage to keep system database accurate and efficient.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
3 years’ experience in retail/customer service functions.
2+ years Fixture Purchasing/Store Planning/Construction experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
3 years supervisory/management experience
General retail knowledge, effective communication skills and ability to read retail store construction plans
Oracle experience a plus, PC knowledge, spreadsheet applications
