Hologic is seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our Surgical Regulatory Affairs team as an Intern. Regulatory Affairs is responsible for understanding the requirements to market a medical device for each country, gathering and creating the submission for health authority review/approval, working globally with new product development and international teams, and understanding the impact of changes to a device on the global market. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for making a difference in the healthcare industry.
Throughout the 10-12 weeks you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:
Work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in regulatory affairs.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the Surgical Regulatory Affairs department.
We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:
Able to work full-time over the summer months (May/June – August/ Sept)
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the internship
Rising Junior or Rising Senior
Majoring in Biomedical Engineering preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience or exposure to working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to effectively prioritize and coordinate project activities
Ability to work onsite at our Marlborough campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided
The hourly pay range for this role is $23 - $28 per hour. Compensation is determined by class standing and operational function.
