Logistics Strategy and Reporting Manager
Job Summary:
Logistics Analytics and Reporting Manager is responsible for driving the overall strategy for developing a comprehensive reporting suite that provides vital data and dashboards to drive critical business results. Partner with various leaders to understand their existing data & reporting needs. Responsible that information into visual reports and dashboards. Lead a team of analysts to prioritize and model data in the most effective manner, improving run-time and report performance. Understand the dynamic nature of our business to anticipate future needs and provide continued support to the logistics operations. Be the subject matter authority with a strategic mindset in building out the reporting roadmap.
Major Areas of Responsibility
In collaboration with Logistics partners, develops performance tracking and reporting strategy, including report requirements – audience segmentation, frequency, KPI identification, dashboard definition
Defines mechanisms for capturing data used to measure performance
Partner with Logistics Systems, IT and Finance on data integrity issues and to identify and evaluate reporting tools
Help prioritize reporting needs, manage the workload with existing team and provide progress against the roadmap.
Find opportunities to streamline reporting distribution and works with logistics leadership and business partners to implement
Provides and presents strategic data-driven recommendations across the enterprise to improve decision-making and ROI
Responsible for performance and ensures development and growth within the function and organization.
Communicates insights with the purpose of growing enterprise value by improving supply chain efficiency
Minimal Skills / Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree Required, Advanced Degree Preferred
5-7 years’ experience in data & reporting field, Operational/Supply Chain experience preferred
Experience leading and developing a team
Technical aptitude (ex. Excel, SQL, Access, PowerBI)
Understanding of Logistics / Supply Chain KPIs
Ability to understand data and recognize trends, experience building reporting strategy
Attention to detail, prioritize multiple workstreams concurrently and work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of business, Off-price model understanding
Track record of learning and developing new analytical skills and technical knowledge in a dynamic setting
Strong communication skills
