Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Program Manager- Data Center Operations

The Program Management team is responsible for building strong partnerships and working across OCI’s internal teams to improve operations, budget management, program management and project delivery. The Program Management team operates in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment and requires the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically.

The ideal candidate has a deep curiosity about data center physical infrastructure and core processes related to datacenter operations along with a core competency for continuous improvement, delivering the right product and services, strong business operations acumen including executive level communications, developing roadmaps, Smart Goals, managing budgets and forecasts, driving operational excellence related to people, process and products by implementing by asking the right questions, advocating for the customer and actively automation when appropriate.

This role is responsible for removing roadblocks for the team and determining direction, while defining and implementing processes to speed up and improve delivery of products and services in support of datacenter infrastructure globally.

Duties:

  • Manage program and project level statuses including communications and providing transparency to Sr. Management

  • Manage cross team risks and dependencies

  • Simple development design and implementation

  • Help identify and remove impediments

  • Help identify process improvement opportunities

  • Manage cross team meetings and follow-ups

  • Manage technical and non-technical projects

  • Responsible for managing release schedules or milestone delivery

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years direct experience leading programs, projects and technical operations for a global team

  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams, dive deep into the details, and being able to communicate key metrics to senior management in a timely manner

  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders to agree on appropriate solutions with a strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

  • Experience establishing processes and coordinating multiple teams to facilitate timely and accurate deliverables

  • A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Basic software development and design skills

  • Flexible, resourceful, team player that can thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

  • Strong attention to details

Preferred

  • Prior Oracle work experience

  • PMP certification
