Apex Entertainment Sales Manager in Marlborough, Massachusetts
Apex Entertainment is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Sales Manager to join our team and help us provide exceptional service to our guests while increasing revenue. In this role, you will oversee all sales operations to ensure guest satisfaction, smooth execution and consistent communication among all Apex departments. This role is also responsible for the coaching, development, and management of the sales team.
Manage all sales team matters from concept to completion.
Foster a positive work environment through leadership.
Ensure team KPI’s, including revenue goals, are being meet by providing training coaching, and development.
Responsible for researching opportunities, cold calling, networking, and increasing the lead pipeline.
Build relationships with guests, vendors, and community, to create repeat clients, receive positive reviews, and continually bring in new business.
Responsible for selling corporate advertising opportunities, such as go-kart sponsorships.
Routinely review all BEOs to ensure they are prepared in a consistent, accurate, and efficient manner.
Routinely review sales team calls and emails to provide on the spot coaching and development.
Manages the planning and detailing of large scale and VIP client events.
Works with guests from first inquiry, through the detailed planning process, site tours, and follows up after event to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsible for handling guest complaints.
Responsible for ensuring up to date financials including collecting on past due accounts.
Schedule and book off site events Apex can attend to increase visibility in community and reach new market segments.
Provide clear and consistent communication with all departments through detailed BEO’s, running weekly BEO meetings, and direct communication with various department managers to ensure all operations teams are set up to successfully execute events.
Responsible for staying consistently informed of all relevant promotions, events, and on goings at Apex Entertainment.
Assist Director of Sales and Marketing team with creating new packages, promotions, and planning in-house events.
Assist in creating and maintaining budgets.
Any additional tasks assigned by management.
5-10 years’ experience working in sales, booking events, and working with BEO’s.
3-5 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Experience in a FEC a plus.
Proficient with CRM software. Experience with POS systems a plus.
Proven experience setting and reaching sales goals and KPI’s.
Strong leadership, management, and networking skills.
Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.
