Summary of Role:

  • This position joins an important and key part of the Hologic finance organization that provides financial analysis and decision support to the Breast & Skeletal Health division and management teams. Responsibilities include all necessary financial models, forecasting, reporting, business analyses and other projects to ensure that management teams are making sound financial decisions. The Breast & Skeletal Health finance team is highly engaged and passionate in delivering the critical business insights and information to their business partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners in developing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to set performance expectations

  • Analyze current and historical trends for key performance measurements, identify opportunities for financial improvement, provide actionable insights and recommendations

  • Apply knowledge of business systems and processes and leverage best practices when working with business partners to solve business issues

  • Prepare and present monthly reporting packages including standard reports and variance commentary

  • Prepare presentations combining qualitative and quantitative data, present findings, and make recommendations to management

  • Increase the use of automation across the organization to streamline and improve new and existing management reports

  • Provide financial modeling, financial analysis and ad-hoc projects as required

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate professionally to all levels of the organization

  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Commitment to learning and growth mindset

  • Proficient with Microsoft office products

  • Experience managing, analyzing, and summarizing large data sets in Microsoft Excel

  • Preferred experience with Business Intelligence systems

  • Experience with ERP system & planning tools (Oracle and Hyperion is preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience:

  • 3-5 years related financial experience
