Overview:
Position Title: Lab Support I

Reports to: Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt
Hours Worked :
Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week.However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
12 month contract
Position Summary:
The Analyst – Cell Molecular Biologist is responsible for maintaining cell cultures, automation, RNA isolation/qPCR. Maintaining and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Check and following daily work plan
Complete work processes within designated deadlines
Performs all tasks and procedures in a team environment with daily supervision
Assist with preparation of specimens and instruments for testing as assigned (e.g., printing labels, uncap/cap specimen tubes, aliquot specimens, prepare racks, worklists, enter/scan specimens and load automated instruments).
Perform simple data collection and entry to support the analysis of nanomedicine formulations.
Clean, organize and maintain work area, glassware (e.g., refrigerators, freezers, and supply cabinets, as needed).
Participate in the laboratory inventory program that provides adequate inventories of reagents and supplies.
Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and Company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
Comply with clients’ and Company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
Perform other essential tasks projects and responsibilities as required.
Cell culture maintenance, Laboratory automation, RNA isolation/qPCR, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment etc.
Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
