RedHat Principal Product Marketing Manager, Telco in Massachusetts
The Red Hat Vertical Solutions team is looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to define, position, and help guide the service provider product marketing strategy for Red Hat to further accelerate our success in one of today's most innovative technology markets, especially in the areas of network function virtualization (NFV), cloud-native networks, 5G, and Open RAN. You'll help establish a clear understanding of target customers, their business drivers, and our competition. Working cross-functionally and globally with numerous teams, you will conduct research, craft market strategies, and develop content to support demand generation and enable our sales teams and Red Hat’s service provider channel partners. Primary job responsibilities
Help us tell stories that resonate with the field and with our customers to help lead the service provider business
Create concise and compelling core messaging for our solutions and offerings that embodies key solution attributes, including clear value propositions, use cases, and differentiation
Create effective marketing assets and content, including presentations, case studies, solutions briefs, web content, data sheets, and sales kits that can be used globally
Develop and deliver enablement and training activities for the Sales team
Jointly create technical marketing collateral with technical marketing managers, engineers, architects and field marketing teams, including technical presentations, whitepapers, and case studies
Collaborate with product management teams to ensure that marketing plans align with directions and support product roadmaps and releases
Participate in technical aspects of go-to-market engagements like roadshows, workshops, webinars, solutions demos, and industry and partner events
Support engagements where required in high-touch accounts worldwide by collaborating with field sales and services teams
Work with alliance and ecosystem partners to develop joint value propositions
Collaborate with other teams to create multi-product and multi-solution marketing materials that address customer use cases and challenges
5-7 years of service provider product marketing experience, including experience with content development and campaign development; experience with network function virtualization (NFV), 5G, and Open RAN is a plus
5-10 years of software industry experience, preferably within an area of infrastructure, middleware, cloud, or virtualization
Solid understanding of the common technical jargon of the IT infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and the system management space
Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, computer science, or a related area; MBA is a plus
Record of success in a fast-paced technical environment
Experience with content creation and the ability to create messaging and positioning based on conversations with more technical stakeholders
Solid content writing skills for e-books, whitepapers, solutions briefs, and scripting for videos and presentations
Ability to translate technology features into customer benefits, develop proof points and value propositions for our offerings, and create high-value assets to communicate and promote our solutions internally and externally
Solid verbal communication and presentation skills; experience presenting to medium to large audiences
Ability and experience working in a persuasion-driven, cross-functional environment with minimal supervision
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities at once in a highly complex environment
