Crestron Electronics is supporting our Sales Affliate SAPPHIRE MARKETING, in their search for Regional Sales Manager to work with New England Dealers and end-users. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team that partners closely with our Northeast Commercial AV Sales team -- by coordinating best-in-class manufacturers with a single point of contact.

Sapphire Marketing is seeking a polished, proactive, and professional Sales Manager to help support dealers and develop business relationships within the greater New England (Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut) territory. In this role, you will actively participate in the sales, design, and order closing process in a firm that cultivates a close-knit and collaborative corporate culture. The primary responsibility of this position is to increase the Commercial Market Sales business within Sapphire's New England territory. You can expect to be on the road collaborating with our dealers, installation partners and designers & be based from your remote home office.

Territory = dealers in New England -- work out of your home office, prefer candidates who reside in near-metro locations (MA, CT, or Rhode Island)

To be a Regional Sales Manager at our sales affiliate, Sapphire,requires proven strength in gaining sales, ownership of company goals with performance at and above targeted quota. We are looking for a hunter, someone with the desire to win! In this role you will demonstrate and foster the Crestron culture of individual responsibility and accountability, take control of revenue targets and forge a plan of action to exceed this goal.   • Experience with managing AV Channel sales in the field.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of managing and attaining aggressive quotas within large Corporate, Enterprise, and Dealer accounts partnering with design consultants, architectural agencies, dealers, enterprise accounts

  • Demonstrated awareness of the market and strong technical knowledge, with the ability to deliver business value to the account and build on customer relationships.

  • Responsible for directly calling on Top Customers / manage VIR performance in your region

  • Cultivating and managing deep relationships with executive level clients

  • Along with a strong sales and/or technical background, the candidate will be essential in developing accounts and selling project-based, hardware and/or software systems solutions by training and education onsite and at CTI

  • Minimum 2 years of Audio Visual / Conferencing experience in a sales / technical capacity

  • College/University degree -- preferred

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM (or equivalent) required.

  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of sales to corporate leadership

  • Able to communicate effectively with customers, partners, consultants, and engineers

  • Working knowledge of Crestron's products and software.

  • Knowledge of procurement policies, information and facilities management within a large organization will be important as you will be demonstrating our products to potential clients
