Ankura Senior Associate, Data & Technology, Data Strategy Analyst (Remote) in Massachusetts

Role Overview:

As a Senior Associate , Data Strategy Analyst in the Data Analytics & AI practice you will have the opportunity to work closely with our diverse clientele, assisting them in leveraging data to make informed strategic decisions. You will play a vital role in conducting in-depth analyses, generating actionable insights, and providing strategic recommendations that leverage data and drive value for our clients to support their mission. This role offers the chance to work on challenging projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the success of leading organizations across industries.

This role is remote, located in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • C ollaborate with client stakeholders to understand strategic objectives

  • D evelop strategies for collecting, transforming, cleaning, and modeling data with the goal of identifying meaningful trends and supporting decision-making

  • Conduct competitive analyses, market research, and industry benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and inform recommendations to clients

  • Drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights

  • Support the implementation of strategic initiatives by tracking progress, measuring performance against objectives , and recommending adjustments as needed

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data analytics and consulting to enhance service offerings and deliver innovative solutions to clients

    Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Business Analytics, MIS or another analytical area

  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis, data science, or data analytics in a consulting or similar environment

  • Experience with analytics and data visualization to recognize complex data to support decision-making

  • Experience with using data methodologies to generate cross-functional solutions through collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data and insights to non-technical audiences.

  • Team player who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to travel 25%+ or as needed, dependent upon engagement(s)

    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the said markets and considers a broad range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The range does not include additional benefits outside of salary. At Ankura, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is between $65, 000 to $155,000; this range is not a promise of a particular wage.
