We are looking for an exceptional Technical Sales Specialist with manufacturing experience to play a leading role within our sales team, delivering the world’s latest manufacturing technologies to our customers.
We’re looking for an individual who can build and foster positive and constructive relationships with some of industry’s most influential product design & manufacturing companies to implement modern methodologies and processes, particularly related to the use and adoption of cloud-based tools.
As a Technical Sales Specialist on the team, you will fill a key role in ensuring our most important prospects and customers have a high-quality sales experience. You will lead technical discussions with customers, clearly articulating and demonstrating the benefits customers can gain from the use of Autodesk’s cloud-based design, engineering, and manufacturing tools.
Work alongside Sales as the ultimate product expert
Thoroughly understand all aspects of Fusion 360 in order to explain the technology to personas ranging from end users to executives
Develop and manage deep relationships with customers to drive adoption of Fusion 360
Understand key aspects of our customers’ business needs and be able to apply Autodesk technologies to drive improvement
Represent Autodesk and its leading customers through the delivery of articles, presentations, demonstrations
Leverage modern communication channels (blogs, social media, etc.) as required to communicate to customers and with the wider design and development community
Deliver feedback to marketing & product development to drive improvements in our offerings and strategy
Strong manufacturing background
Strong training, mentoring, and support background
Experience with 3D CAM software…eg. Fusion 360, MasterCAM, Delcam, Espirit, HSM, PowerMill, etc.
Experience with 3D Design software… eg. Fusion 360, Solidworks, Pro Engineer/Creo, NX, Simulation
Strong persuasion, organization and relationship building skills
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to clarify and summarize complex issues for executives, business leaders, designers, engineers, and machinists. You’ll need to be a great story-teller and effortlessly adapt your communication style depending on the audience
Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects at once and be at ease leading and influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority
Creativity, fresh thinking and a willingness to learn
An ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts in simply understood terms
4+ years of experience as an Application or Sales Engineer
4+ years of experience using Fusion 360 for CNC programming
Field experience programming 5-axis CNC machining equipment with at least one of the following applications: Fusion 360, Inventor CAM, HSMWorks, Siemens NX
Compensation range: $135-175k (Colorado)
