InkBit Production Technician in Medford, Massachusetts
Production Technician This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Overtime is available. Shifts will be determined as staff is hired. The current production day normally starts at 7 am and ends at 7 pm. We have various customer contracts that require all personnel working at the Inkbit office to be vaccinated for covid. What we are looking for in a Production Technician We are building a brand-new, cutting-edge Digital Factory and we are ramping up our production staff. The primary production tasks for this position include: ? Post-processing of the parts using manual, semi-automated and automated methods ? Inspecting the parts using hand-held tools and scanning systems ? Packaging and shipping the parts Additional responsibilities: ? Maintenance, calibration and trouble-shooting of the printers and other production equipment ? Working with engineers and other members of the team on validation, experiments and optimization ? Continuous improvement programs ? 5S and otherwise maintaining the facilities ? (Others as needed and as assigned) The ideal candidates will have: ? 2+ years work experience ? Comfort working with small, delicate parts ? Extreme attention to detail and patience ? A safety mindset Other requirements: ? Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs and be capable of utilizing dollies and pallet jacks ?
