JOB SUMMARY

As the Shipper, you’ll prepare CGIT Bus System for shipping.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • With direction, make various dunnage and boxes out of wood or steel.

  • With direction, move finished material and raw material.

  • Load and unload trucks as needed.

  • Assemble and install shipping caps.

  • Understand and use crane hand signals.

  • Clean work area each day and put tools back in their proper location.

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Massachusetts Operating Engineers 1B license

  • At least a HS Diploma or GED, preferred.

  • Able to read tape measure and blueprints.

  • Experience with overhead crane, ratchet straps, rubber hammer, stencil, tape measure, wood saws, drill, pneumatic tools, fork trucks, acetylene torches and hand tools.

  • Able to work outside in different temperatures.
