Tufts Medicine ED Trauma Program Manager in Melrose, Massachusetts

Summary:
The Trauma Program Manager is responsible for:
Development, implementation and evaluation of our Level III Trauma Program
Assesses the quality of care provided to trauma patients, in accordance to protocol.
Oversees Trauma Performance Improvement Specialist and Trauma Registrar.
Manages, as appropriate, the operation and personnel aspects of the trauma program, serving as liaison to the hospital administration.
Collaborates on the development of trauma transfer protocols
Facilitates coordination of interdisciplinary trauma performance improvement conferences for the adult trauma service
Works closely with Trauma Medical Director and ED physicians and Surgeons
Assesses needs for trauma educational programs and coordinates these as necessary
Reports data to the MA State Trauma Registry and to the National Trauma Data Bank

40 hour/week
Qualifications:
- Job Description Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).2. Massachusetts RN Licensure.3. Four (4) years of RN experience in a Trauma Center. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)2. Two (2) years of Management Experience.3. Six (6) years of RN experience in a Trauma Center.
