Description

We are seeking an Estimator in Methuen, Massachusetts. This role involves creating sales estimates, managing capacity, planning for demand spikes, and ensuring materials are on hand for scheduled jobs. You'll be communicating daily with sales and account management teams and creating estimates that meet both internal and external requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and gaining approval for all sales estimates promptly

• Managing capacity effectively to accommodate workloads

• Analyzing and planning for demand spikes to ensure smooth operations

• Coordinating with buyers to ensure materials are available for scheduled jobs

• Communicating daily with sales and account management teams to update estimate status

• Creating estimates that meet both internal (production) and external (sales and customer service) requirements

• Communicating effectively with all levels of management

• Utilizing advanced computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, to perform tasks efficiently

• Applying knowledge of production planning and quality control principles to daily tasks

• Using 3M, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, JDA, Management System, About Time, Customer Service, Forecasting, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Excel Formulas skills effectively in the role.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain analyst role or similar field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Excel formulas.

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.

• Knowledge of 3M, JDA, and About Time management systems.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Experience in forecasting, logistics, and manufacturing.

• Ability to interpret and analyze supply chain data.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field is preferred.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
