State of Massachusetts Emergency Stabilization Program Manager in Middleboro, Massachusetts

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is searching for an enthusiastic, outgoing, reliable individual to fill theEmergency Stabilization Program Manager (Program Manager IV)position located in the Southeast Region at the Middleboro Regional Office. Stabilization services provide individuals with care and supervision, skills training in both activities of daily living and social, behavioral-emotional, leisure and home management, and community access in a residence with 24-hour staffing, environmental safeguards, and assistive technology. The Emergency Stabilization Program Manager will direct all clinical and administrative operations regarding residential, programmatic, and administrative functions. _Duties and Responsibilities:_ (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive.) * Responsible for communication with individuals, families, area, and regional staff regarding progress toward stabilization. * Discharge planning back to community home or other setting. * Supervise and evaluate staff performance. * Assign staff coverage based on individual needs and circumstances for the program. * Conduct implementation of treatment plans. * Oversee collaboration with regional staff, intake, and assessment. * Main contact for individuals served, family members, DDS staff statewide, Clinical Consultants. * Monitor and maintain optimum condition of buildings and equipment. * Order equipment and supplies for residential and programmatic purposes. * Communicate protocols, strategies, and practices with all internal and external parties. _PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS_: * Experience working with individuals Intellectually disabled, families, guardians, providers, and other stakeholders within the DDS community. * Good interpersonal skills * Good computer skills and familiarity with the Meditech program and the Home and Community Services Information System (HCSIS). * Competency in computer skills (word processing, data base management, and e-mail). * Experience in staff supervision, evaluation, communication skills, conflict resolution. * Strong supervisory experience in a clinical capacity. _Agency Requirements:_ * Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. * Must possess current and valid Class D Motor Vehicle Operator's License. _Schedule Information:_ * Full-time – 40-hour weekly position - 1st shift (Day Shift) * Monday through Friday 8:45 am to 5:00 pm * Days off – Saturday and Sunday * This position will require flexibility and will be on the On-Call rotation. _About the Department of Developmental Services:_ The mission of the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is to create innovative and genuine opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder to participate fully and contribute meaningfully to their communities as valued members.
