Note: This is an in-office role, with the expectation of working 5 days per week in our Milford, MA office.

What Youll DoWork with a variety of our internal Administrative, Contracts, Sales and other Branch personnel, along with Nucor Rebar Fabrication customers to invoice rebar supply and rebar placement contracts.

Your Responsibilities Review rebar and contract change order documents to ensure proper setup and billing requirements. Prepare monthly requisition-style invoices, payment applications and retention billings with supporting documents according to customer billing terms. Review the accuracy of all invoices prior to posting. Work with and collaborate with branch teammates to clear billing errors or disputes in a timely fashion. Perform monthly Sarbanes-Oxley compliance tasks and generate various ad hoc reporting; perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management. Provide back-up assistance for other Billing Administrators as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Associates degree in Business or Accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

What Will Put Your Application Ahead Prior AIA requisition billing preferred. Administrative experience in the construction industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, plus proven adaptability to learn new systems. Strong critical thinking and organizational skills. Attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies, spot potential problems and seek solutions. Highly motivated and self-directed.

What You Need to Know Must be able to adhere to demands of a fiscal calendar monthly close schedule. Overtime during peak periods required. Must be a self-starter willing to work closely with other departments to communicate and reason through contract issues and problems
