Milford Regional Medical Center Lead Nurse/Clinical Coordinator in Milford, Massachusetts

40hrs, M-F, 3:00p-11:30p, Occasional weekends, no Holidays, 4x clinical charge, 1x administrative

Statement of Purpose:

Under the direction of the Director/Nurse Manager, assumes responsibility of coordinating the flow of patients as well as working the human and material resources of the Department. Delivers and supports quality care adhering to regulatory requirements, professional standards, and evidence-based practice guidelines. Demonstrates progressive leadership skills as evidenced by motivating, leading, and coaching others effectively, making independent decisions and showing clear, unbiased judgment in resolving conflicts. Supports and promotes management decisions, goals, and initiatives. The Lead Nurse also fulfills the duties of the Registered Nurse job description. Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing for Registered Nurses, (BSN preferred) Job Knowledge and Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, problem solving, conflict management, and leadership skills required Certification / License: Current RN License in Massachusetts, Current BLS Certification, Current ACLS/PALS (PACU/SDC), current membership in specialty organization, current Specialty Certification (CNOR, CPAN, CAPA) preferred

Experience: Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in current perioperative specialty required. Charge or leadership experience preferred.

MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy .
