Description We are in the construction industry, located in Millbury, Massachusetts, and we're seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing prompt and efficient responses to queries.

Responsibilities:

• Handling invoice processing with accuracy and efficiency

• Assisting in the coordination of weekly check runs

• Participating in special projects as needed

• Ensuring accurate record-keeping of customer credit information

• Processing customer credit applications with precision

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various data entry tasks

• Conducting account reconciliation tasks promptly

• Coding invoices accurately for seamless financial tracking. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary, with a demonstrated ability to balance and maintain accurate ledgers

• Must have prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP), including maintaining vendor files and managing the AP process

• Capability to perform Check Runs efficiently, ensuring the company's financial obligations are met

• Familiarity with Coding Invoices, with an ability to accurately assign expense categories to invoices

• Strong data entry skills are essential, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed

• Experience in Invoice Processing is required, including verifying and posting transactions

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and perform data analysis.
