Our work depends on a Salesforce Development Team Lead joining our team to support Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) activities at Bethesda, Maryland.

As a Salesforce Development Team Lead supporting CMS, you will be trusted to work on Salesforce platform and lead a team of developers providing IT development and support requests supporting Marketplace initiatives. In this role, a typical day will include:
Collaborating with CMS to solve complex policy and system integration involving activities across several CCIIO components, leveraging your knowledge of Plan Management, FMPS/PSP, MATS and SPIDR technical systems.
As an organized, analytical problem solver, you will lead a team that will design, develop, and maintain software and tools to support building, deploying, and monitoring applications.
Develop better and more efficient ways of delivering solutions that meet business objectives.
Create, update and maintain system documentation
Write process requirements, technical design documents, and standard operating procedures
Responsible for continually advancing the technology in a collaborative and creative Agile environment using many of the latest technologies and industry best practices
Conduct investigations and analysis to provide recommendations regarding technology improvements, development best practices, standardization, and upgrades
Work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Master’s degree in Information Systems
Ability to manage time effectively, to work under time pressure, to meet schedules and deadlines, to multi-task, to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments and pay close attention to detail
Must have 5 years of experience and knowledge of IT operations and sysadmin roles in order to strategize the entire integration and deployment process supporting CCIIO systems; FMPS/PSP, MATS and SPIDR activities
Must have 5 years of hands-on experience developing, supporting and deploying FMPS/PSP, MATS and SPIDR
Must have 5 years of experience coordinating IT activities across multiple CMS contractors coordinating FMPS/PSP, MATS and SPIDR activities
Must have 5 years of experience supporting CMS/CCIIO towers of CSG, MPMG, MEEG and PPFMG
Must have 5 years of experience with Salesforce Visual Force, LWC or Apex
Must have 5 years of experience deploying enterprise public facing websites/applications
Must have 5 years of experience managing project management using JIRA and Confluence or similar agile application life management tools
Expert knowledge in development, testing, and deployment technologies
A firm grounding in the Agile methodology
Must possess SAFe Practitioner 5 certification
Must possess SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager 5 certification
Must possess Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
Must possess Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification
Must possess Salesforce Administrator certification
Must possess Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification
Must possess Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification
Must possess Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant certification
Must possess Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification
Must possess Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator certification
Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years
Healthcare Service Industry or Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience
Thorough knowledge of software development through automation tools
Salesforce certifications in Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud
Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages
