Job Title: Electrician Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Electrician to join our team. This position is onsite at a private university and involves working closely with the Director of Facilities and the Vice President of the University.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical preventative maintenance.

• Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to all electrical systems on campus.

• Oversee the electrical systems in the main plant, each academic building, and individual dorm rooms on campus.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Electrical work.

• Valid Electrical License.

• Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues for reporting.

• Basic computer skills for handling work orders (sending and receiving).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Lab experience (4-5 labs on site).

• Experience in preventative maintenance on boilers, chillers, air handlers, etc.

• Management experience.

• Experience in other trades such as HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry.

• Skills in Conduit, Schematic, and Blueprint reading.

Work Environment

You will be working on a beautiful campus located in the middle of the Babson University athletic complex. The college serves about 400 students during the academic year and hosts large summer camps with approximately 1,000 daily campers, including 200 overnight campers. The campus is small, walkable within 5 minutes, quiet, and easily accessible from the highway.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Needham, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
